Doosan’s new machine is an emissions buster

Doosan has launched a new 8t reduced tailswing excavator to meet Stage IIIB emissions legislation.

The DX85R-3 meets the requirements of the legislation with a combination of exhaust gas recirculation and a diesel particulate filter.

According to the manufacturer, the new machine “goes far beyond just meeting the new emission regulations”, and has been designed to exceed “voice of customer” requirements by establishing a new benchmark for productivity, fuel efficiency, enhanced controllability and high operator comfort, together with improved reliability, durability and reduced maintenance costs.

The DX85R-3 is 10% more powerful than the previous model, the DX80R, and has 12% more bucket digging force.
