Doosan boosts safety on articulated dump trucks

Doosan has made several new safety and productivity improvements in its DA30 and DA40 articulated dump trucks.

They include a new levelling meter that utilises rotation sensors on the front and body of the truck to provide a continuous stream of data that is converted into graphical read-outs. These tell the driver whether it is safe to advance and to stop if there is a danger of turning the body of the truck over.

Another new addition is a payload and cycle count meter that uses load sensors to provide an immediate read-out on the cab’s payload control monitor.
