Diversity in Engineering

ICE London is partnering with the Women's Transport Seminar for a 'Delivering Diversity' conference on 29 February 2008 at One Great George Street, London.

The one day event will explore the challenges and solutions of delivering diversity within the construction, engineering and transport industries.

Industry leaders in gender, ethnicity and disability inclusion will hold workshops and discuss best practice, providing an opportunity for attendees to develop their own solutions to assuring inclusion as well as addressing the current national shortage in skills.

Speakers include Jean Venables, ICE Vice President; TfL director for group equality and inclusion Valerie Todd; Constructionskills director for diversity Aaron Mounds; employer liaison manager Carolyn Yates of the UK resource centre for women in science, engineering and technology (UKRC) and David Morris, The London Mayor's adviser on disability.

Clients, employers, HR managers, professional institutions, academic staff, managers and equality practitioners can contact to secure a place.
