Disillusioned with 'my' Institution

I have always followed Institution affairs closely, having at one time been honorary secretary of the Glasgow & West of Scotland Association, and have voted in every election and ballot for many years.

I certainly feel misled over the issue of single membership and agree totally with both David Green and Jim McCafferty (NCE 5th October).

The failure to respond to the demand for a new ballot has caused me to become disillusioned with 'my' Institution. If I and others like me lose interest, the process of a 'lowest common denominator of membership' described by John Acton will be accelerated.

Perhaps this is the hidden agenda.
