Engineers are getting into the 'free cd' promotional market. But instead of 20 Top Drive Time Classics, or Flowers in Music, our guys' ideas are a bit more, um, unconventional. Take Halcrow for instance. Chairman Tony Allum hasn't time to travel round and see all his 3,600 plus staff worldwide so he has made a 12 minute CD film on his values and visions which will shortly be winging its way to each and every one of them. And as a personal touch each CD will have a local manager's introduction. .
