Deputy transport mayor to set out sustainable vision

London’s deputy mayor for transport Isabel Dedring is to set out her vision for a sustainable transport system in the capital during New Civil Engineer’s free lunchtime fringe event at the 2012 Base London.

NCE editor Antony Oliver will host the meeting, which will be held on 21 June at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel in the City of London.

The Base London conference is chaired by Transport for London board member Steve Norris and explores the capital’s low-carbon policy and how this translates directly into opportunities for the construction and property industries in housing, public buildings and commercial property retrofit, resource management and infrastructure.

For details of how to register for the free event email with “Base London” as the subject.
