Demelza House Children's Hospice

Demelza House Children's Hospice has received £1,250 thanks to safe working practices demonstrated by Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL) staff. The money was donated by Rail Link Engineering, project manager and designer of the CTRL, and contractor Amec Spie Rail Systems. It was in recognition of 250,000 and 500,000 hours worked respectively without a serious accident on Contract 570, whose site offices are based near Ashford in Kent.
