'Deeply disappointed' at request


Leeds Supertram supporters were left 'deeply disappointed' this week after being asked to spend the summer reconsidering alternatives to the 21km light rail project. Transport minister Derek Twigg made the request at a meeting called to discuss the troubled scheme's future after no announcement on government backing was made before the parliamentary recess.
