Deeper meanings

They say a picture paints a thousand words and this often holds true in technical articles as well. Your coverage of Nam Cheong Station (Ground Engineering, November 2000) was very good.

Unfortunately, the typical section shows ground level at concourse level rather than at platform level. The complexity and magnitude of the ground works therefore fail to be conveyed to the reader, unless he or she reads the words very carefully and realises there must be an error in the section.
