Danish firm Ramboll plans expansion in Poland

Danish consultancy Ramboll has bought Polish energy firm EPPL to help tap into the county’s expanding renewable energy market.

Ramboll hopes to use its expertise in renewable energy construction and operation as Poland wants to increase its energy from renewable sources to 15.5% in 2030, from 5% at present.

The firm also wants a slice of the expected £100bn of investment to be spent in energy, industry, mining and transport over the next 10 years.

Ramboll has bought EPPL from Danish firm Dong Energy.
