Danida and Cowi to establish three wastewater treatment plants

Danish water firm Danida and consultant Cowi are to establish three wastewater treatment plants on the Thai islands of Koh Phi Phi, Phuket (at Patong) and Khao Lak. The project for Thai national wastewater organisation WMA is a post-Tsunami project added on to a two year advice project. The plants will use reedbed filtration technology and will be paid for by Danish donations to the reconstruction effort.
