It was interesting to note that Nigel Curry (NCE 31 May) believed he had no contract even though he was working for M4I.
A contract of employment can be in writing or it can be oral or sometimes a combination of both.
Indeed, M4I will be breaking the law if they have not provided Nigel with a written statement containing certain important terms of employment, including length of notice of termination that he is entitled to receive. I suggest Nigel asks for a contract - pronto.
