New ICE country representatives have been elected to represent India and Canada.

India's new country representative is Dr Partha Bose (F). Bose graduated with a civil engineering degree from Jadavpur University, Calcutta in 1972. He also studied structural and ocean dynamics and vibrations at Cranfield University, Bedford, England. Bose currently works in the field of Transmission Line in India.

Canada's new country representative is John Christian (F). Christian graduated with a degree in civil engineering from the University of Sheffield, England in 1959 and completed his PhD in civil and structural engineering from the University of Bradford in 1974.

He has worked with Ove Arup as a consulting engineer and London Transport. He is currently the associate dean at the University of New Brunswick in Canada.
