Costain M25 contract wins Highways Agency safety award

Work to refurbish the Holmesdale Tunnel on the M25 has clocked up over 1.5M man hours since May 2006 without a reportable accident to any of the road workers involved.
Television motoring pundit Quentin Willson and Highways Agency chief executive Archie Robertson presented the award as part of the Agency's major projects conference on Tuesday.Other major road schemes completed without serious injury to road workers were recognised in the with a 'Target Zero' award.
