Costain and Jacobs in £67M decommissioning contract

Costain, Jacobs, Amec and Babcock have today been awarded a nuclear decommissioning contract worth up to £67M over four years, under the Actus joint venture, by site operator Magnox.

Contractor Costain has teamed up with consultants Jacobs, Amec and Babcock to form the Actus joint venture.

Actus will decommission Intermediate Level Waste (ILW) at the disused nuclear power station at Trawsfynydd in North Wales. The work is part of a wider framework contract with Magnox.
