Aarsleff Piling is using an ex-Westpile Junttan PM20 driven piling rig to install nearly 620 piles for a residential scheme in Epsom, Surrey.

The machine is one of three bought by the firm following Interserve's sale of Westpile earlier this year (GE March 2004) and this is its first Aarsleff job. The precast concrete piles up to 10m long will support 55 houses on the site of the former Horton Hospital, as part of Bryant Homes' Livingstone Park development.
