Contractor wanted for £20M Dundee rail station job

Dundee City Council is looking for a contractor for a £20M project at the city’s rail station.

The local authority advertised the project in OJEU, giving firms until 13 August to register their interest in the scheme.

Works will include building a bridge over the track as well as stairs, lifts, a landscaped plaza, a car park, and an access road. Utilities will need to be installed and a five-storey mixed-use building constructed.

Work is due to start in April 2015 and run for two years.
