Contractor sought for offshore energy assessment work

The government is seeking a company to project manage strategic environmental assessments for offshore energy schemes.

The Department of Energy and Climate Change advertised the 40-month contract, worth up to £4M, in OJEU this morning.

Under EU law, DECC has to carry out and maintain SEAs for offshore oil, gas and renewables projects.

Companies have until 13 October to register their interest in the work.
