Contractor sought for £27M North East opportunity

Middlesbrough Borough Council is looking for a highways contractor for work worth up to £27M.

The Teesside local authority advertised in OJEU for a highway specialist services partner for an initial three-year deal.

Work will include carriageway and pavement surfacing; road maintenance; provision of road markings and studs; and traffic management.

Contractors have until 6 August to express an interest.
