Contractor buys Bobcat tracked loader

Lincolnshire contractor K&S Allbones Civil Engineers has purchased a new Bobcat T770H compact tracked loader from Scunthorpe-based dealer AMS Bobcat. The new model replaces a Bobcat T300H tracked loader purchased in 2008.

K&S Allbones managing director Nick Allbones said the firm has “always had a policy to invest in the latest technology and equipment”, adding: “Our company prides itself in combining this with good old-fashioned hard work, a fact that is really appreciated by our customers.”

He continued: “We were the first to have a laser grader attachment in the UK – it ensures that we get the sub base right every time by allowing us to very accurately grade hard core and soil to very tight tolerances.  We do a lot of laser poured concrete floors and the Bobcat tracked loader offers a lot more flexibility and is much more manoeuvrable and economical to run than the bulldozers we used to hire in for this application.”

The  contractors specialises in construction work in the farming and poultry industry, including demolition of existing buildings, groundworks, drainage and other civils work for new poultry sheds and other agricultural buildings.
