Contracting MD falls foul of Black & Veatch overhaul

BLACK & VEATCH Contracting managing director Rosemary Thomas is an early casualty of the restructuring of all Black & Veatch UK operations announced this week.

Thomas left the company as plans were announced to integrate the three Black & Veatch divisions of Consulting, Contracting and Refurbishments into one operation.

This means the company can offer its water clients a combined consulting and process contracting service.

Former Consulting boss David Nickols is the new Europe division president of what is now simply Black & Veatch.

Former Refurbishments head Mike Hinge takes on the role of UK water utilities director.

Matthew Nott is director of the environment division with a particular brief to build up flood prevention and protection work.
