Consultants look to Turkey for growth

Consultants Aecom and URS Scott Wilson are among the major firms looking to win new work on a UK trade mission to Turkey this week.

Aecom transportation director for Europe and CIS sees Turkey as a “key market for growth”.

Business secretary Vince Cable is leading the three-day trade visit to Turkey and hopes to double bilateral trade by 2015.

Other firms on the trip include architects Foster+Partners, engineering giant Rolls-Royce and defence firm BAE.
