Construction Rocks calls for in-house band entries

WSP, BAA and Argent have joined forces to organise Construction Rocks, the third annual construction industry battle of the bands.

The event will be held on Thursday November 4 at Argent’s German Gymnasium on King’s Cross Central’s development site, and is open to all construction industry company in-house rock bands.

“Construction Rocks is a lot of fun and can get very competitive, but there is also a serious side − last year we raised £5,200 for Great Ormond St Hospital, Sports Aid, Help the Aged and Maggie’s Fund,” said WSP director Bill Price, whose band Wild Sex Party lost their title last year to Arup band the Ovatones.
