Construction homeless charity launches festive e-card

Construction industry housing charity Crash this week launched its annual “No Christmas Card Appeal”, which should reduce the industry’s carbon footprint while raising thousands for charity.

In return for donating the cash companies usually spend on Christmas cards to CRASH, the charity will give them a free specially designed e-Christmas card featuring their logos.

These can be emailed to company contacts.

In addition, every donor will be featured in a follow-up “thank-you” advert to run in the construction press later in the year.

All money raised by the appeal will be put towards the charity’s work helping homeless people to get off the streets and to rebuild their lives.

  • For details of how to get involved contact Kate Marsh, Crash fundraising administrator on 020 8742 0717, or email

NCE editor Antony Oliver has, perhaps foolishly, agreed to run the 2010 Windsor Half Marathon on behalf of CRASH. The race is on 26 September. If you would like to sponsor him or simply offer words of advice then email
