Concrete Europe 1999

Wembley Exhibition Centre will be the venue for Concrete Europe 99, the first event of its kind to be held in London for a decade.

Theme of the two day exhibition, demonstration and seminar, which will take place on 20 and 21 October, is Concrete on Site.

More than 120 firms have signed up for the exhibition, many of them introducing products new to the UK. Sponsors of the event include the British Cement Association, The Concrete Society and the Association of Industrial Flooring Contractors.

A wide variety of products and techniques will be demonstrated in the specially constructed area within the exhibition hall. These will run to a timetable throughout the two days and will cover reinforcement innovations, fast build foundations, laser controlled floor screeding and performance comparisons.

The seminar programme, organised by the sponsoring bodies, will consist of a 90 minute session, morning and afternoon. Subjects for the first day are Concrete surface finishes and Thin concrete solutions.

Thursday's sessions will cover The use of steel fibre in industrial concrete floors and Concrete durability and enhancement including stainless steel reinforcement and its role.

Below we list a selection of the firms and products on show.
