Concrete coating

Keim Mineral Paints (01746) 714543

Sheffield County Council has chosen the Keim Concretal Lasur system to cover up concrete discoloration and blemishes on the Parkway Viaduct, which was built in 1991 to carry part of Sheffield's tramway system. Keim describes the system as a low-pigmentation stain which forms a micro-crystalline bond with the concrete substrate. On Parkway Viaduct the Concretal Lasur was specifically formulated to cover up the blemishes while maintaining the structure and natural feel of the concrete.

Following the success of this project, Keim says, that Concretal Lasur has been specified for a number of other bridge projects.
