Come to the Commons reception

ICE MEMBERS and guests are invited to join President Roger Sainsbury at an evening reception on the terrace of the House of Commons at 6.45pm on Tuesday 13 July 1999.

Members will be able to meet their own MP, the All-Party Parliamentary Group for the Built Environment and MPs and Lords interested in civil engineering. Lord Howie of Troon is sponsoring the occasion.

Cost of the reception to members will be £24 per person. Members wishing to attend should write to: Mrs Patricia Warren at One Great George Street, Westminster SW1P 3AA, enclosing a cheque made payable to the Institution of Civil Engineers.

Members should provide full details of their guest as well as their constituency and name of their MP if known. Envelopes should be marked Terrace Reception.
