It is always worth reading the Comment column by Antony Oliver for a well thought out and balanced view of the issues affecting our industry and society as a whole.

It is a shame, therefore, that even he can't resist the temptation to state that it is clear that nuclear power is not the long term solution to the UK's energy problem (NCE 19 January). If it is that clear, then why are we still having the debate?
