Civils on air

Letters

I noticed that Mike Parker (NCE 29 January) was bemoaning the fact that modern civil engineering expertise did not seem to feature on British TV.

I completely agree with him and am happy to say that in my capacity as a programme maker for Radio 4, I proposed a series to the network last autumn which looks at different aspects of modern engineering.

I am in the process of recording the series and, access permitting, hope to cover some of the most exciting projects around at the moment.

And it is presented by Adam Hart-Davis! It will be on Radio 4, 9-9.30am for five weeks during the summer.
