Chongqing infrastructure to be beefed up

News

Consultant Mott MacDonald is to help beef up infrastructure in the Chinese city of Chongqing, the world's largest city, and to help local government and businesses to improve their management skills. The project is part of the World Bank's £145M Chongqing Small Cities Infrastructure Improvement Project, due for completion in 2011, tackling water supply, flood protection, road and bridge construction and sanitation.
