Chevy chased

With reference to the 'Chevrolet and the environment agency' letters (NCE last week), give the guy a break and credit for a little personality.

Personally I drive a British 1962 Consul Capri which does everything your 16 valve Mondeo can legally do in our traffic and congested motorways, looks 'wicked', and returns nearly 30mpg on unleaded. But this 'eccentric' hobby has avoided the need to build two new company cars for me in the time I've been running it.

I also use a bicycle when appropriate. Sustainability begins at home.
