Channel Tunnel Rail Link

Plans to build the Channel Tunnel Rail Link in two phases were expected to be confirmed by Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott yesterday (Wednesday). Railtrack is expected to take over the project with the operation of the Eurostar train service contracted out to a consortium of National Express, British Airways and SNCF (NCE 21 May).
