Change at the top at White Young Green

Consultants White Young Green have appointed Lawrie Haynes as their new chief executive officer, taking his post on 1 July, prior to current CEO John Purvis retiring in October.
Haynes was chief executive of British Nuclear Group and a main board director of British Nuclear Fuel Limited. He has also worked as chief executive of the Highways Agency and Group managing director (Telecoms) of Lattice Group.His experience in the energy and transportation sectors were considered essential for White Young Green's growth in these sectors.White Young Green's chairman Peter Wood said: 'I am delighted that we have recruited such a capable and experienced successor in Lawrie Haynes.'His background and relevant expertise will enable us to continue our growth as one of the leading multi-disciplined consulting groups. We look forward to him joining us in June.'Shares in White Young Green fell slightly, by 0.8% in early trading.
