CH2M Hill completes acquisition of Halcrow

US giant CH2M Hill has today completed its acquisition of UK consultant Halcrow for approximately £124M.

It is understood that both management teams will now spend six months deciding how best to integrate Halcrow into the CH2M Hill Group. The most immediate change will see CH2M Hill president of facilities and infrastructure Jacque Rast taking over as chief executive of Halcrow from Peter Gammie.

CH2M Hill chairman and chief executive Lee McIntire said it was already becoming clear that the combined operation would deliver significant benefits to clients as the firm’s pool their collective expertise.

Rast said Halcrow employees were a “great fit” for her firm and paid tribute to Gammie’s leadership.

“I would like to extend my appreciation to Gammie for his steadfast leadership in upholding the high-standards of client service, ethics, safety and talent development. We now look forward to integrating the Halcrow team to capitalise on the unique strengths of both firms.”
