Cement with potentially dangerous alkali levels delivered


Developer Crest Nicholson has confirmed that at least one load of readymixed concrete with potentially dangerous alkali levels from cement produced at Lafarge's troubled Westbury works was delivered to one of its projects in Bristol. Cement from the Westbury works was delivered to local readymix producers with falsified alkali test certificates for two years until last December.
