Carrer Move

LOOKING FOR a new job? Trying to find out who the best employers are? Simply ring the new Careers in Construction Registration hotline to book your place at the event with the answers in one room.

The success of last Octobers Careers in Construction fair in London prompted Emap Construct, New Civil Engineers publisher, to launch two new regional events for 1998 the first in Birmingham in June, moving to London in October.

Both have the same aim: to match undergraduates, graduates and mid-career professionals from the construction and building industry with the right employers.

Last year more than 3,000 visitors attended the two day Careers in Construction event at the Paragon Hotel, Earls Court. The reaction from visitors was overwhelming nine out of 10 found the fair useful, eight out of 10 identified a potential new job at the event.

Firms exhibiting were also pleased with the contact that Careers in Construction gave with potential employees. And virtually all those firms on show last October will be back this year and as before will be hosting a series of industry and employment-related seminars during the event.

Pre-registration for both events will entitle you to free entry tickets, show guide and schedule of the seminars to be held.
