Carillion has won a £100M DBFO contract to build a highlevel road bridge over the River Swale in Kent, which will improve transport links to the Isle of Sheppey. The project is part of a larger PFI deal, carried out by Carillion special purpose company Sheppey Route, which covers 17km of the A249 including 5km of dualling the Iwade bypass.
