Careers in Construction

Ben Bennett, now heading up the new QS division for Aspen in the south west, went to Careers in Construction last year 'to see what was around.

'I felt my career was stagnating and wanted to find out who was in the market and what they were offering. Meeting people face to face is much better than answering an advertisement. You can find out so much about the company's style and personnel policy as well as what jobs there are.

'There were a lot of people like me there, who had been with one employer a long time and were always being told there was no promotion and no more money on offer. I found out at Careers in Construction that that was not the case. I acquired a challenging new job and a much better salary.'
