Cardiff day out

ICE news

South Wales association is holding a one-day public exhibition and an evening lecture at Cardiff International Arena on 5 April as part of Construction Week 2000. According to organiser Laurence Young, the exhibition is a celebration of civil engineering and gives a chance to publicise the benefits brought to society by civil engineers. The lecture on the stabilisation of Italy's Leaning Tower of Pisa is intended to have universal appeal. Exhibition stands are still available, at £350 plus VAT.
