Capita Symonds appointed to £276M Calgary road project

Capita Symonds’ Infrastructure PFI/PPP team has been appointed to act for the funders to the concessionaire - The Chinook Roads Partnership – for the CAD$450M (£276M) South East Stoney Trail (SEST) roadproject in Calgary, Canada.

Over the next four years Capita Symonds will provide technical advice on the design, construction and entry into service of the project which involves 25km of new dual three lane highway. Its role will also include overseeing the operation and life cycle maintenance, over the next 30 years, of the new highway as well as 12km of the existing Deerfoot Trail Highway.

Completion is expected late 2013
