Capita reveals solid performance

Consultant and outsourcing firm Capita announced a solid performance in its interim management statement.

A statement from Capita Group said its businesses have performed “solidly of 2011 and our operational performance for clients remains excellent” for the first months of the year.

The company said it is expecting a busy sales period with record bid pipeline and a strong list of opportunities particularly in outsourcing.

The company said they have signed it has signed seven new contracts worth £313M this year. Capita has bought six other firms worth £80M. Capita is also looking to expand its reach in Poland and India.

Capita said it was “well placed to achieve steady revenue growth and continued margin progression in 2011.”
