Capita acquires engineering consultant

Capita has acquired engineering outfit BCS Design, which provides a range of civil, structural, geotechnical and multi-disciplinary design services.

BCS also has a surveying business, operating mainly in the rail sector, and works as a highways contractor on projects worth up to £2M.

The consultant also operates in the include water, energy, structures and temporary works sectors.

It firm employs 40 engineers and has annual revenue of £3M and was a 2014 winner in the NCE Consultant Of The Year Awards.
