Capita acquires award-winning firm

Award-winning consultancy NRM Bobrowski has been bought by Capita Symonds for an undisclosed sum.

NRM Bobrowski – which has offices in London, Southampton and Sheffield – will now be known as Capita Bobrowski.

Formed in 2004 following the merger of NRM Consultants and Jan Bobrowski & Partners, the company has been involved in a number of high-profile sport projects, and has a particular connection to horse-racing.

Projects including Cheltenham Racecourse, South Quay Footbridge and Lords Cricket Ground.

Capita Symonds chief operating officer Andrew Murray said: "This is another important acquisition for us as part of a concerted strategy to expand key areas of our business and enhance our existing offering. NRM Bobrowski brings some excellent engineering expertise and experience and we look forward to working with them."

NRM Bobrowski managing director Ritchie Clapson saw the deal as an "opportunity to work on an even wider portfolio of exciting projects."
