Campaign to build three new river crossings

A £600M campaign to build three new river crossings between Hackney and Dartford was launched this week by London First and Thames Gateway London Partnership. Campaign leaders say the crossings, to be decided on by the future Mayor and Assembly for London, would create 25,000 jobs and unlock acres of land for development. Campaigners are calling for a decision within the first six months of the Mayor taking office.
