Call for papers

Ground Engineering welcomes papers on geotechnics, geoenvironmental engineering and engineering geology.

Papers should be topical, practically orientated and preferably of international interest. Case studies describing innovative geotechnical work are particularly encouraged.

Authors should aim for a maximum overall length of no more than 3500 words. All original papers are refereed and for this process papers should be supplied as hard copy with appropriate photographs and diagrams. For publication, text should ideally be supplied on disk in PC Word for Windows format, with diagrams, which are redrafted, as good hard copies. Photographs should be prints or transparencies. Electronic versions can be used but must be high resolution.

Ground Engineering aims to publish papers within six months of receipt, offering authors rapid and widespread dissemination of information throughout the world's geotechnical community.

Prospective authors should contact Max Soudain, editor, Ground Engineering, 151 Rosebery Avenue, London EC1R 4GB; tel: +44 20 7505 6665; fax: +44 20 7505 6790; email:
