Call for papers

DIARY

6th International conference on offshore site investigation and geotechnics 11-13 September 2007, London. Conference organised by the Offshore Site Investigation and Geotechnics Group of the Society for Underwater Technology. Papers are invited on themes including geohazards, advances in techniques, foundation research, design, construction and monitoring and environmental aspects.

Abstracts of no more than 200 words should be submitted by 31 March 2006 to Carol-Ann Reid, Society for Underwater Technology, tel: 01224 823637; email: carol-ann. reid@sut. org; visit www. aberdeen. sut. org. uk DFI 31st Annual conference on deep foundations 4-6 October 2006, Washington DC. Abstracts are invited on the themes including: history of foundation construction in Washington DC and other urban environments, case histories, innovation in construction materials and equipment, codes and standards and reuse of foundations. Deadline for abstracts of no more than 300 words is 6 January 2006. These should be submitted online at www.deepfoundations06. org or by email: dfihq@dfi . org.
