Business update

Ramesys, supplier of e-business solutions to engineering and construction, says it is only the fifth company in the UK to be become a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Enterprise Systems.

Gold partner companies are rigorously examined and audited by Microsoft, giving customers added reassurance as to the company's credentials.

www. ramesys. com Consultant Needlemans has launched Needlemans MPS, a joint venture with information systems company Prosys Corporation to deliver IT and software solutions to the construction industry. Its first product is a Contract Change Management (CCM) software application, which the company claims will enable maximum business value to be extracted from the New Engineering Contract.

www. needlemans. com Integration, consultant Arup's project extranet business, has been bought by market-leading US e-commerce supplier Causeway Technologies. The Integration team will now work on merging Causeway's existing project collaboration platform with that of another US e-commerce supplier, Open Text. When combined, the new solution will provide support for over 7,000 construction professionals managing projects worth more than £7bn worldwide.
