Morgan Sindall has been awarded a £60M, two year extension to an existing framework with Western Power Distribution.

The new two year deal will extend the existing three year framework agreement – worth £30M annually – to deliver excavation, cable laying and reinstatement works in the West Midlands region. The project will now run until October 2019.

As part of the work, it will carry out planned and reactive works on Western Power Distribution’s 11kV to 33kV distribution networks in places including Stoke-on-Trent, Telford, Tipton, Birmingham, Hereford and Ludlow, Worcester and Gloucester.

“We are very pleased to have been awarded this contract extension, which we believe reflects the close and productive working relationships we have with Western Power Distribution, and the quality of the work we do,” said Morgan Sindall Group chief executive John Morgan.
