Highways England puts out call for graduates

Highways England has issued a notice for graduates to join its three-year training programme.

Students who gain a place on the graduate trainee scheme are guaranteed a job when it’s finished and can even interview for a promotion.

The workplace training scheme is UK wide and also offers professional training so that the graduates can gain chartered status.

Highways England says applicants for the roles of project manager, quantity surveyor or civil engineer will need at least a 2:2 in an associated discipline and strong communications skills. Applicants for the graduate accountant scheme will need a 2:1 degree in any subject plus 300 UCAS points.
