Bullivant appoints new managing director

Roger Bullivant has announced that Julian Gatward has been appointed as its new managing director and takes over the role from Rob Brown who is leaving the business at the end of the month.

Gatward joins Bullivant from Simplex Westpile where he held the post of managing director and was also director of the MVB joint venture working on Thames Water’s Lee Tunnel project.

According to Bullivant, this new appointment is the culmination of the business review and restructuring that was undertaken following acquisition of the business by Bachy Soletanche in summer 2011. Gatward will work alongside finance director Graham Trafford and health &safety, marketing, technical and business development director John Patch.

According to a spokesman for Bullivant, Brown is leaving the company to persue his own business interests.
